The Press has acquired a new journal
The West Point Press has acquired the Industrial and Systems Engineering Review (ISER). The ISER is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that aims to advance industrial and systems engineering theory and practice as applied to any enterprise system. The journal seeks to publish review articles, regular research papers containing new theoretical foundations, case studies, and manuscripts describing novel applications of existing techniques to new problem domains. The journal’s editors encourage submissions related to any enterprise system. Topics and areas might include, but are not restricted to the following:
Engineering Economics / Cost Estimation
Engineering Management / Organizational Behavior
Facility Location / Plant Layout
General Systems Theory
Human Factors / Ergonomics / Safety

The ISER was founded by Dr. Jeffrey Fernandez, Dr. Daryl Santos, and Dr. Anand Iyer in 2012. The current Editor-in-chief is Dr. Paul F. Evangelista. The Co-editors for the journal are Dr. Anand Iyer, Dr. Vikram Mittal, and Dr. Brandon Thompson.
